If you are like me, you try to start every new year by making an attempt to get more organized.  Here are ten ideas that might inspire you.  I discounted any ideas that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.  Expensive closet organizers are wonderful, but not always practical.  I have also discounted any ideas that might be hard to execute.  Here are some simple ideas that can be done quickly and for very little money. Instant gratification is always good!

#1…use a dish drainer for children’s books and art supplies.

#4…Use chalkboard paint to mark glass jars.  It is attractive and useful.

#8…Use teacups and saucers to store jewelry in a drawer or a shelf in the closet.  Muffin tins would work but they aren’t as pretty.

#9…Put items on a tray on the counter and you have an instant beautiful grouping that is handy as it is pretty.
