Maybe it is a result of putting the Christmas decorations away but at this time of year I usually think of white on white rooms. After the red and green and colorful tree, rooms with lots of cream, white, texture, and a more minimalist feeling seem like a good idea. Look at these rooms. Do they appeal to you? Would you want to live in a white on white house or maybe one with a room or two? These images are taken from Pinterest.

Could you live in a home that is white? Would you long for color on the walls? You could have color in throw pillows but “neutral” would be the operative word. As much as I like looking at the rooms, I think that I need color in my home.
I think that the key is to have lots of texture, wood, and a crystal chandelier or two never hurt!
